A large, and quite spectacular acrylic MidCentury chess set. The board is very thick and substantial on four thick disk legs, the pieces are defined by a painted yellow or orange color on the bottom. All pieces are uniquely scored or cut to represent the king, queen, bishop, knight and rook... The pieces have been freshly polished, some minor hazing to a couple of pieces, not offensive or terribly noticeable. The board is in very good shape with some patination. While the piece is signed we are not aware of the artist or maker, however it is numbered and likely from an important designer. All pieces are 1" x 1" square Pawns are (shortest) 1.38" tall King (tallest) os 4.75" tall.
