French six panel gilt, hand painted, Art Deco screen with deer - Ca. 1935, The six panels bi-fold with a solid gilt reverse. Each panel measures 18.3" wide and 73" tall. A total expanded length of 109,8". The piece is near a century old, for it's age the condition is very good, however, as with any piece of this age there are some condition issues. We admire the patination and have restored places that displayed more serious condition issues. The piece is a compliment to many spaces and its unique and rare scene represents an era of beauty and opulence. Hand painted panels are a dynamic finish of deer and palms in gilt and paint - Art Deco remains an important design feature in many homes, from modern and contemporary or a Deco point of view. a compliment as a room division when needed or a dynamic back drop, the screen is a wonderful stand-alone or would be impressive attached to a large wall.

A small shell encrusted frame - a vintage and folk art piece with a red felt back. The piece is lovely for a bathroom, or dressing area - also would work well on any wall that wants a bit of diversity or is near the water. A small walnut and wood box with very handsome details on side and inlaid in brass. The top pivots upwards and does not come off. Easy to store the smallest of things and drugs. Of course we mean aspirin and such.

A smoked glass fireplace screen. The glass is beveled and is on panel supported by two bronze feet. the glass has two spherical knobs, which make moving the piece much easier than trying to pick up the entire piece of glass. The simplicity is quite chic... photos don't do this justice as it really is quite simple and modern, but with reflections and other pieces it takes from the subtle simplicity. We have chosen not to polish the fittings but will upon request - this would give the piece a very new and fresh look - it is very minimal and that is the beauty of it.

This vintage sofa is very well built with hand tied springs - The newly upholstered cushions are down filled and wrapped - a very nice piece with great construction and very durable. We did a neutral linen to coordinate with many spaces and especially those with a more organic tone.

While the piece is a mid century design it stands the test of time and works well in spaces from modern to traditional. Solid Brass Mid-Century Modern Italian Coat rack or stand. Beautiful Brass with a traditional design brought into a modern look with the design of the arms and spheres at the end of each of the four arms. The base and shaft are polished brass - the base has a stone or molded weight which allows the rack to hold very heavy coats, scarves, hats, etc. - the weight is under the brass and not visible - a very attractive pieces that compliments any interior and works along side any entry or closet.
